The Omelas Institute‘s International Justice research focuses on the investigation of human rights, democracy and political reform outside of the United States and United Kingdom. Furthermore, the Institute works to formulate and advocate an approach to foreign policy that places a greater emphasis on supporting democracy and human rights on the world stage.
The Omelas Institute aims to encourage discussion on regions and nations that remain neglected in current foreign policy dscourse and to increase both the breadth and depth of public engagement with foreign politics.
Finally, our International Justice research aims to provide British and American readers with an insight into the domestic politics of nations around the world with a focus on Sub-Saharan Africa, South America and East Asia in particular.
Research on International Justice is headed by Adam John Ellison.
